When they jumped out and ran away, I stuffed the last one in my leather jacket. She liked that and poked her head out near the collar. We continued to be riding buddies for a while after that. It was a great icebreaker for picking up chicks.Many tank bags will work. Riding on the tank is a warm and relatively safe place compared to other locations on you or your motorcycle. If she/he is secured in the bag it could by far be the safest place in case of accident. You can still leave a space unzipped for them to poke their head out. And if the dog is ok with it and you are not worried she/he can just ride in the bag with it open. I would not carry a dog in one of those carriers simply because of the risk to the dog in an accident. I have transported a Pit Bull in a tank bag From Lake Almanor, CA to Salem, OR in November almost non-stop. She slept most of the way. She had never been on a motorcycle... 6 weeks old and now she's 6 months and always hangin round the bike ready for another ride
